Introduction

Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim.

I had a debate with a Christian poster on Islamonline Discussion Forum (IOL). Its about the Holy Spirit. Who was this Holy Spirit? Of course I know that Muslims and Christians have a totally different view about Holy Spirit. What bothers me the most, this Christian poster on IOL is using several Qur’anic verses to support her view that “Holy Spirit is God”, to which I refute.

That is only one example among many others. Indeed there are so many Christian posters using that forum to spread their mission to muslims, and I am concerned with this. In the other hand, this also gives me the opportunity to learn on how to deal with them and how to protect gullible muslims from the danger of their deceitful work, bi’idhnillah. Wallahul musta’an.

I have been on that forum since 2003, and one of my reasons to be there is indeed to learn how to answer the Christian Missionaries who work to convert muslims to their belief. I am an Indonesian Muslima, and in my country the Christians are so aggressive in their missionary work. In fact what brings me to IOL in the first place is the Christians attack on Islam and Muslim in an online Indonesian Discussion forum. When I searched on Google to answer the Christians on that forum, the results led me to IOL. There are also several other reasons which make me put some effort in this anti-apostasy field, among which is that I know some people who leave Islam and become Christians, wa na’udhu billah.

Well, IOL forum has changed so much over the years. People come and go, and I am still there even though not as active as before. I realize that I need another place to learn how to answer the Christians, to refute their falsehood and the doubts they spread among muslims, without being distracted too much by hatred posters, by kufr and shirk being promoted etc. Also when I asked a muslim brother from IOL to make a writing about The True Believers –in order to refute their false statement–, what the brother wrote made thinks that it should benefit not only me and IOL readers but other muslims as well. This is why this blog is created. In the long term I hope that this blog will be beneficial for more muslims insha Allah. May Allah make it easy and bless this humble effort of us. Indeed all praise is due to Allah.
